Introducing the GP Provider Support Unit

The GP Provider Support Unit (PSU) exists to support quality, innovation and improvement in general practice across Birmingham and Solihull. It is funded by the ICB and is in the process of establishing new capabilities and ways of working.

The PSU is led by general practice – the BSol GP Partnership Board provides strategic oversight, and the unit’s priorities are set by the needs of practices. Our first major priority is to support the Right Access First Time programme, helping practices across BSol to manage workload and improve access.
