Quarter 3 & 4, 2023/24

The ICB’s Primary Care Commissioning and Performance Team wrote to all practices in November about the requirements for the second half of this financial year. The Enhanced Service Offer (ESO) provides additional funding for all Birmingham and Solihull practices to contribute towards the costs of:

  • Improving access
  • Participating in locality development
  • Providing general practice based additional services
  • Addressing specific health inequalities and medicines optimisation priorities

The November update confirms earlier communications that practices participating in the RAFT programme will receive additional funding under the scheme, as well as the support to accelerate improvements in access and workload management.
